Mobile Repair, Answered

New to having a mechanic come to you? Here’s how it works, what we cover, and what to expect, start to finish.

What is a mobile mechanic, exactly?
We bring the repair to your vehicle instead of you bringing your vehicle to a shop. Most maintenance and repairs get done right where your car is parked: your driveway, your apartment lot, or your workplace. No tow, no drop-off, no waiting room.
Do I need to be there while you work?
No. As long as you’ve authorized the work on the estimate, all we need is the keys, access to the vehicle, and a way to pay when the job’s done. You can be at work, running errands, or asleep. Plenty of customers approve the work, leave the keys, and go about their day.
Where do you actually do the work?
Wherever your vehicle is safely and legally parked with room to work: a home driveway, an apartment or workplace lot, or a residential street. Some HOAs and business lots have their own rules, so check with your property if you’re not sure.
What areas do you serve?
We cover Vancouver, WA and nearby towns like Battle Ground, Camas, Washougal, and Ridgefield, plus much of the Portland, OR metro across the river. Not sure you’re in range? Ask, we might still be able to help.
How do I get a price, and why isn’t it instant?
Send us your vehicle details and what’s going on through the request form. If you have a dealer or shop quote, attach it and we’ll price directly against it. We review each request and send back an estimate, usually the same day. We don’t guess at prices blind, since an accurate number needs the specifics.
Can I just call you?
We keep things to text and email so we can stay focused on the vehicles we’re working on and give every estimate proper attention. Send a request through the form or email us at [email protected], and we’ll reply as soon as we’re free, generally the same day.
How does pricing work once I’m booked?
Common services are menu-priced up front, so you know the number before we start. Everything else is quoted in writing up front, broken out into parts, labor, and tax. You approve the total before any work begins, and we won’t exceed it without your OK.
Do you require a deposit?
For larger jobs we may ask for a deposit to cover parts and get the work started. It goes toward your total, with the remaining balance due when the job’s done.
How do I pay, and are there card fees?
Cash, card, Google Pay, Apple Pay, or tap to pay. No card surcharges, and an itemized invoice every time.
Is the work guaranteed?
Yes. Workmanship is covered by a 6-month / 10,000-mile limited warranty, whichever comes first. Most parts also carry their own manufacturer warranty. Full terms are provided at authorization or on request.
Is there anything you can’t do on-site?
A few jobs are better in a shop: major internal engine or transmission work, or anything that needs a lift or an alignment rack. If yours is one of those, we’ll tell you straight and point you in the right direction.
Will you work on my vehicle?
Most gas cars, trucks, SUVs, and vans, plus many diesels. Not sure if yours qualifies? Just ask when you send your request.
